Wolves are on the path to recovery in Washington. The annual year-end count of wolf populations in the state starts in late November or December and will give us an idea how populations have progressed since last year, and what areas wolves are populating. Monitoring wolves on a landscape as big as Washington State is extremely complex and takes a tremendous amount of effort. This video shows how the annual count is conducted and the tools used.
